The Face of the Festival
Encounters Festivals are re-known for generating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to all the Delegates, Guests and audiences who attend. This is thanks to the fantastic volunteers who represent the face of the festival each year. We rely on our volunteers to champion and carry forward the festival, and without their support, Encounters would not be possible. We wish to continue this success, to work towards a bigger and better festival, and to do that we need your support.
Encounters aims to provide the best possible experience for each volunteer who generously gives their time to the festival. Each year we offer a variety of positions and roles, which provide valuable experience and exposure to those trying to break into the film, arts and events industries. We look for enthusiastic individuals, ready and willing to get stuck into the excitement and buzz of the festival, covering various roles and activities in areas such as guest liaising, marketing, ticketing, ushering, assisting festival staff, party and event support and more.
