Bafta Success in South West
BAFTA Success
A huge congratulations goes out to Bristol based filmmaker and ‘Rising Star of Tomorrow' Esther May Campbell, winner of this years BAFTA for Best Short Film ‘September', an atmospheric story shot near the Severn Bridge, about a meeting between a young no-hoper and a girl who is learning to fly.
Having premiered at London Film Festival Esther then went on to win our very own Best of British Award.
From all at Encounters we wish Esther the best of luck with future projects and continued success.
We would also like to say congratulations to Aardman who won Best Short Animation for Wallace and Gromit ‘A Matter of Loaf and Death' which was shown on BBC1 on Christmas day receiving the highest rating of any TV show all last year with an audience of 14.3 million.
