Following a highly successful event last year, from 19th – 25th May the Encounters 0117 Film Challenge is returning to Bristol. Filmmakers from across the land are invited to create quality short films in just 117 hours, for the chance to win £1,000 cash prize.
For the final screening of the Nominated Shorts Season, Encounters presents the works nominated for the 2011 Cartoon d’Or, the pan-European award for the best animated short film of the year, presented last September.
As part of the Nominated Shorts Season, Encounters presents a screening of the Nominated Animation Shorts from the Orange British Academy Film Awards in 2012
