BBC Blast

BBC Blast is the BBC's multimedia platform for young people aged 13 to 19. It is divided into sections: Art & Design, Dance & Drama, Fashion, Film, Games, Music & Audio and Writing. They also have a working experience section where the young people can apply for and be directly involved with the latest events. 

BFI Education

BFI's Education section provides a list of resources, services and activities directly relevant to teaching and learning about moving image. It shows different events for primary and secondary school levels. 

Calling the shots (CTS)

It is a production company based in Bristol; it was set up in 1998. CTS is involved with broadcasting, digital video and multiplatform projects for TV. They also work with corporate clients and provide education. They aim to reach people of all ages and backgrounds. Their educational workshops for children are not only on acting but are also on production. 

Chew TV

Chew TV is a Web TV Channel where you can watch and submit free short films and videos online made by the next generation of media talent.Chew TV Web TV Channel is run by and for young people aged 14-25. As well as getting your work ‘out there' in front of an industry audience offering vast exposure opportunities, Chew TV gives a voice to young people and provides a unique platform and network for young people to connect and share ideas. FILMCLUB

It is a service run by movie lovers that aims to educate children in cinema history by exhibiting films in schools. On their website teachers order the movies they want to screen at their school's film club. FILMCLUB is also a useful website as it provides inform about the latest film news, future releases, and festivals. 

First Light movies

The organisations main priority is funding young people, aged 5 to 19, to make their own movies. Additionally, they host special projects aimed at different age groups. These projects encourage young people explore the different areas of film making with professionals.
Every year First Light movies organizes The Activision First Light movie awards, which has been labelled as the "mini-Oscars" ceremony. 

Mediabox

It is a funding organisation, who aim to help young people, between 13 and 19 years-old. They have three different funds: Big Mediabox; Mid Mediabox; Mini mediabox. These funds can be used for film, television, radio, online projects, print and multi-media platforms. They also organize different competitions where prizes are normally in the form of guidance from a media expertise.

Suited & Booted - Studios CIC

Founded in 1999; Suited & Booted formed with the intention of merging the quality of commercial filmmaking and a community base ethos. Their main tasks are the provision of media content, the development and facilitation of media literacy, and educational projects.
They provide a trainee scheme for young filmmakers offering the chance to gain experience in the industry, eitht the aim of aiding them in starting a successful media career. 

The School of Sound

The school incentives the creative use of sound within arts. They host regular symposia, specialist workshop and courses. 

Young Film Academy (YFA)

YFA is the UK's leading programmer, of educational filmmaking for young people aged 8-18. It is famous for tayloring workshops and training courses for schools. YFA visits over 50 independent and state schools, they also hosts workshops at the Guardian Hay Festival, Edinburgh International Film Festival, London's children film festival.

4Talent

Offers support and help to talented individuals, with different projects geared to various age groups. For example their work experience scheme is aimed at young people aged 14 to 19. During one or two weeks, students spend time in various areas and thus getting an over-view how a broadcaster works.
Another project targeted for young people is the Inspiration Week. It takes place in Easter holidays. Students get involved in talks with high-level media professionals, peer-to-peer learning and can get careers advice.
