Inspiring Young Creative Talent

Wednesday 17 November – Wednesday 1 December 2010 

Fresh Flix aims to provide a new platform for young talent to showcase and celebrate their filmmaking achievements as well as inspire, enthuse and inform.

Presented by Encounters International Film Festival and the Watershed, Fresh Flix 2010 will provide an excellent opportunity for young filmmakers to get together, watch films, as well as take part in some fantastic workshops presented by prominent industry professionals. Fresh Flix will start on the 17th November as part of the 16th Encounters International Film Festival (16-21 November) and will culminate at the launch of Electric December on Wednesday 1st December.

Submit Your 5 minute Film to Electric December
We would like to invite all young filmmakers (aged under 21) and organisations working with young people under 21, to submit their 5 minute shorts to Electric December, an annual online advent calendar which showcases shorts by new young talent from across Europe. Enter and be part of Electric December’s 24 days of digital delights. To submit your short film visit electricdecember.org (submission deadline 15th October).
