Fresh Flix aims to provide a new platform for young talent to showcase and celebrate
their filmmaking achievements as well as inspire, enthuse and inform. From special
previews, filmmaking and animation workshops, live music and competitive
programmes, the fantastic month long programme ends in the launch of Watershed’s
online calendar Electric December, celebrating young creative talent from across the city,
the UK and Europe.

Last year the cross art-form event featured a fantastic programme of film, music and poetry for young people, children and their families.
Over 21 events, Fresh Flix saw 785 people take part of whom 490 were children and young people.

We are already preparing some fantastic events for Fresh Flix 2012, but stay tuned for more information as Encounters is moving its dates to 18 - 23 September.
The festival is currently seeking a Marketing & Events Co-ordinator to join the festival team.
