Become a festival sponsor

“The UK's most important short film festival” The Guardian

ENCOUNTERS recognises that sponsorship is a way to maintain and develop the flair, know-how and glitz for which the festival is known worldwide. That's why we pay very close attention to making sponsorship good value for all of our supporters.

A premier benefit is that it associates your business with an event that is successful, international, creative, dynamic, well established and well-respected.

Now celebrating its 15th year, ‘Encounters' is the UK's leading festival of short film - a key diary date, both for the film industry and its enthusiasts, and for Bristol, where it takes place.

As a result the festival commands widespread attention locally, regionally, nationally and globally, via media coverage, a well-used website, focused use of e-mail-outs, a broad range of promotional materials, its competitions and highly-distinguished supporters and guests.

In addition, ENCOUNTERS can help businesses to achieve positive, affirmative profile in front of a range of valuable audiences, including high-income professionals, educated young urbanites, the technology-literate, the creative sector, trend pioneers, and the wide Bristol community.

NEW FOR 2010
Become a friend of the festival. This is new opportunity for organisations and businesses who are looking to support the festival through a difficult transition phase of reduced public funding and the current recession effects on corporate sponsorship. Friends can donate any amount from £100-£10,000 (or more) and receive logo creditation in a new section in our brochure and website, tickets to the opening night highlights screening and reception, tickets to the sponsors lunch during the festival and to the closing night party.
